Opening up to the world

The inclusion of Bogota in the Emirates network will greatly facilitate the arrival of international travellers, particularly from Asia, Africa and Oceania, with connections to key destinations such as mainland China, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Johannesburg, Cairo and Delhi. In addition, this route also enhances the offering for Colombian travellers and consolidates Bogotá’s status as a leading MICE hub in Latin America.

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, said: “We have long wanted to serve Colombia, and the addition of Bogota to our network is part of our strategy to provide better connectivity, expand options and choice for travellers and deliver unrivalled premium experiences on the ground and in the air. The launch of our daily operations to the vibrant capital of Colombia also underlines our deep commitment to South America”.
