According to Victor Mejía, CCO of JetSmart, the company hopes to officially become a Colombian operator by the end of the year.
JetSmart plans to have a strong presence in Bogotá and Medellín. The airline plans to operate 49 weekly frequencies on this route, making it the busiest, followed by Bogotá – Cartagena (35) and Medellín – Cartagena (35), among others. The airline would be present at the airports of Bogotá, Medellín, Cartagena, Cali, Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Bucaramanga, San Andrés, Pereira, Montería, Cúcuta, Pasto and Pereira.
